There is a furnished room for short or long term rent in the heart of the Mile-End, situated near Parc Jeanne-Mance and the Mont-Royal walking trails, in between the major roads Avenue du Parc and Boulevard Saint-Urbain. There are multiple bus lines that pass nearby, and the Mont-Royal metro station is a 15 minute walk away. There are multiple bixi stations nearby. The nearest supermarket is a 5-minute walk from the front door, with a large variety of other bars, shops and restaurants in close proximity as well. Though it is a very central and accessible location, our street is always very calm and quiet. The apartment is on the third floor, with a big and comfortable living room, a fully-equipped kitchen with a balcony, a washing machine, and extra storage space both inside and outside. The available room gets a lot of natural light, and has its own balcony at the front of the house. We like to keep the apartment very clean and well-organised, and though we sometimes get together to chat or share a meal, this is usually a very quiet apartment as each of us has their own schedule. Your other roommate would be myself, Fadi: I am currently finishing my PhD dissertation, and I also like to cook and spend time with friends.
