(en français ci-dessous) Room in a queer-friendly 6 ½ apartment in the Plateau / Mile End Price: $720/month + approximately $50 utilities (hydro, gas, internet) Available: September 1st Location: H2T, near Clark and Mont-Royal Accessibility: ground-floor apartment, with one set of stairs to access it Languages spoken at home: French and English Room available in a spacious 6 ½ apartment in Plateau–Mile End. We are ideally looking for a woman and/or queer person to join our home. The room is the largest in the apartment and comes furnished with a double bed, dresser, desk, office chair, and large closet. It gets a little less natural light than the other rooms, but it is very quiet and cozy. You would be sharing the apartment with me, Marie, 36, from France (and who has also lived in Singapore and the U.S.), studying photography at Cégep du Vieux Montréal and working part-time in communications. I like going to concerts, hanging out with my dog Dora, and befriending basically everyone in the neighbourhood. You’d also be living with Nico, 22, from Ontario, who works in a family-run shop and likes hanging out in parks with friends and playing board games. We’re pretty low-key at home and are looking for someone with a similar vibe. We do like hanging out together in the apartment, chatting, watching something, or just spending time in the same space, but we don’t really host people or have parties very often.
